Achievements:
- Created, designed and migrated a new document management system to provide a centralised system for all documents and emails in one secure place in a defined structure. This increased speed and productivity when working with customers.
- Mapped and automated a large portion of the product process and designed a database to implement this process. This is now used in all major areas of the company including by the COO and the VPs. From this I created automatic reports to give live information on all customer leads. This has increased productivity and accuracy of our proposals and decreased the time required to generate proposals.
- Designed and implemented an IT-based document sign-off database that decreased the time required to approve proposals internally while providing live information of what sections have yet to approve documents. This is currently used by the COO and VPs of the company.
- Designed and created a system that automated manual checking of invoices using SQL, Access, Oracle and the ERP system (VisAer). This enabled the company to recover over €500,000 and improve our supplier relationship. It is now the standard system used.
- Reduced the time required to produce the Aer Lingus “A” Checks invoices using Impromptu.
- Reduced data input from 800 manual entries to 1, greatly enhancing productivity and lowering the possibility of errors for the Line Maintenance’s additional work database.
- Designed a successful proposal and concept using overlays on Google Earth for a new approach to staff induction, involving online learning and 3D modelled environments to improve quality and reduce training duration. This solution clearly conveys the company values and guiding principles to staff, customers and visitors alike.
